R-Day special: A dash of partriotism, national pride & culture

Description: Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School celebrated the 77th Republic Day with enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The programme began with a solemn prayer for the nation, followed by a welcome address and lamp lightning. The cultural programme opened with a graceful dance performance by primary students, setting an energetic tone for the celebration. An informative speech on the significance of the Indian Constitution highlighted its role in shaping a democratic and inclusive nation. Patriotic songs, poetry recitation and a powerful dialogue enactment further enriched the event. A felicitation ceremony was held to honour national and international achievers of the school for their notable accomplishments. Chief guest inspector Renu Sahu of the Punjab Police, an alumna of the school from the 2006 batch, addressed the gathering and encouraged students to uphold constitutional values and serve the nation with commitment and integrity. She was presented with a memento as a token of appreciation. In her addressed, principal Venita Joseph urged students to be responsible citizens, emphasising discipline, honesty and service to the nation. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks.
